Broadview Basement: Drylok and framing

To get the walls ready to frame, I scrubbed the efflorescence off the walls, and then all of the exposed concrete was painted with two coats of Drylok — a waterproofing paint. Once the walls were sealed up, the carpenter (Chris!) started framing. The floors were not painted, since we’ll be acid staining and sealing the concrete floors. As you can see, the floors will need some lovin’ before they’re pretty.
